Shawdesh Desk: A freedom fighter was killed as a motorcycle rammed him in Rampotti area of Babuganj upazila in Barishal on Monday evening.

Two passengers on board of the motorcycle were also injured in the acciden took place at around 7:00 pm on Dhaka-Barishal highway.

The deceased was identified as Abdus Somed Ali Sardar, 70, a residence of Rampotti.
OC SM Jahid Bin Alam of Airport Thana under Barishal Metropolitan Police confirming the matter said, the motorcycle hit freedom fighter Somed Ali while he was crossing the road. The two motorcyclists were also skid off on the road leaving Somed Ali dead on the spot.

The injured bikers were taken to the Barishal Medical College and Hospital for treatment.
