Shawdesh Desk: Four BNP leaders, including its secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, have been invited to the ruling Awami League’s upcoming 21st National Council scheduled for December 20.

Besides Fakhrul, BNP’s National Standing Committee members Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Barrister Moudud Ahmed and Mirza Abbas have been invited.

A three-member AL delegation led by sub-committee member Jia Uddin Ahmed Shipu reached the BNP chairperson’s Gulshan office on Thursday (Dec 19) with the invitation cards.
Confirming the news, BNP’s Assistant Information and Research Secretary Riaz Uddin Nosu said that he accepted the invitation cards on behalf of the four leaders.

Awami League is set to stage its 21st National Council at the Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital tomorrow (Dec 20).
