Shawdesh Desk:
Law enforcers arrested seven activists of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) from in front of its headquarters in the capital Nayapaltan area on Thursday.
Some plain-clothed officers of police picked up them from in front of the BNP central office at 12:00 pm.
The identities of the arrestees couldn’t be known immediately as police haven’t confirmed the incident of arrest yet.
Some members of law enforcement agencies in uniform and plain clothes gathered at the BNP office from the morning on the eve of the hearing on BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s bail petition in Zia Charitable Trust Graft Case.
Witnesses said, “The arrestees were standing in front of a book shop in the ground floor of the BNP office. Police arrested and took them at that time.”
