An alleged drug trader and arms dealer was killed in “gunfight” with Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in Khilkhet area of Dhaka on early Monday.

The deceased was identified as, Mizanur Rahman Mintu alias Megha Mintu, 34, was a listed drug dealer and an accused of several cases, RAB said in a short message service (SMS).

“A listed drug dealer (Mizanur) died in gunfight with a patrol team of RAB,” the elite force said.

The RAB members also recovered foreign pistol, bullets and a huge amount of drugs.
