Good news for Shakib’s fans

Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan’s “Dorod” is set to be released in Bangladesh on 15 November. In addition, the production company of the film has completed the process of releasing it in 20 countries around the world. The film’s director Anonno Mamun confirmed the matter to the media on Sunday.

Anonno Mamun said, “The film ‘Dorod’ will be released in 20 countries around the world simultaneously on 15 November. It is a romantic psychothriller, in which Shakib Khan will be seen in a new way. This is the first pan-India movie, which is made under the banner of four production companies.”

Shakib Khan shot for the film in October 2023. Bollywood star Sonal Chauhan has acted opposite Shakib Khan in the movie. Apart from Shakib and Chauhan, the project “Dorod” also stars Payal Sarkar, Rahul Dev, Alok Jain, Rajesh Sharma, Safa Marua, Imtu Ratish, Zakir Hossain, Farhan Khan Rio, Tanvir Tareq, Biswajit Chakraborty and others.

According to the director, there are four songs in the film. Balam, Konal, Noble and Imran have sung the songs. In addition to the Bengali songs, there are also three Hindi songs. The Hindi songs have been sung by Nakash Aziz, Raj Burman and Mohammad Irfan.

In addition to directing, Anonno Mamun is also one of the producers of the film. Other producers are Ashok Dhanuka, Himanshu Dhanuka and Kamal Mohammad Kibria Lipu.

Action Cut Entertainment is the distributor of the film. The company said that in addition to Bangladesh, the film be released in 20 countries including the United States, Canada, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Nepal, Malaysia, Portugal, Italy, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Singapore, Cambodia and Sri Lanka.
