Thousands of people from different parts of the country gathered at Suhrawardy Udyan in Dhaka this morning to attend a rally organised by Olama Mashayekh Bangladesh.

The event, which began at 9:00 am, drew a large turnout, including many madrasa students from different districts.

By 9:30 am, crowds extended to nearby areas, including Shahbagh and parts of the Dhaka University (DU) campus, leading to severe traffic congestion.

As of 10:15 am, Olama Mashayekh leaders were delivering speeches at the rally.
