The Miss Bangladesh Beauty Pageant 2024 concluded at the Le Méridien in Dhaka on Thursday night, said a press release on Saturday.

The beauty pageant has selected 10 women who will represent the country in 10 international pageants across six continents.

Ferdousi Tanvir Ichchha, a BRAC University LLB student, earned the ultimate title of the beauty pageant alongside the title of Miss Bangladesh Earth.

She will represent the country at the Miss Earth Contest in the Philippines on November 9, the press release mentioned.

Kazi Tarana, the 1st runner-up, will compete in the Miss Global in Cambodia, while Mahbuba Rahman Labonno, the 2nd runner-up, is set to showcase her talents at Royal International Miss in the United States.

The rest 7 of the top 10 will represent Bangladesh in Miss Heritage International in Thailand, Miss Asia, Miss Asia Global, and Miss Glam World in India, Miss Interglobal in Philippines, Miss Culture Global in South Africa & Miss Freedom of the World in Kosovo and Albania.

Meghna Alam, chairman of the Miss Bangladesh Foundation, emphasised, ‘The competition may be over, but our mission has just begun. We are committed to rebuilding and rebranding Bangladesh globally, and these young women will serve as global ambassadors of change, advocating for environmental sustainability and social responsibility.’

Growing Together director Julia Wesemann, International Stylist and Yoga trainer Minna Svinhufvud, journalist Sharmin Rahman Rauma, music producer and composer Manam Ahmed, Northbrook Consultants Limited managing director Nazim Farhan Choudhury, corporate trainer and media personality Ferdous Bappy, and Meghna Alam were the judges for the grand Finale.
