Dhaka Metropolitan Police officials said that the Criminal Investigation Department had identified the main opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party central office at Naya Paltan in Dhaka as a crime scene.

Motijheel police assistant commissioner Golam Rohani said that the CID identified the place as crime scene to collect evidences of crimes.

‘As evidences are collected, senior officials will decide the next course of action,’ said Ruhani who was seen with a contingent of personnel and APCs and water cannons facing BNP headquarters.
