A man and his infant child were killed in a landslide at IW Colony under Panchlaish Police Station in Chattogram city on Sunday morning.

The victims were identified as Md Sohel, 35, son of Kala Miah, and his seven-month-old daughter Bibi Jannat.

Local people said that the incident took place at about 7:35am.

Chattogram Medical College Hospital police outpost sub-inspector Nurul Alam Ashek said that the two were brought to the hospital in a critical condition where doctors declared them dead.
