A senior judicial magistrate court in Rangamati on Sunday set August 22 for further hearing in a case in connection with the disappearance of Chittagong Hill Tracts based woman leader Kalpana Chakma in 1996.

Judicial magistrate Swarna Komal Sen fixed the date after hearing from both the prosecution and the complainant sides.

Inspector Azam Uddin Mahmud who is posted in the Rangamati district court said that the court would hold further hearing on August 22 in this case.
