A five-day Hajj conference is going to start in Saudi Arabia on March 19 to take a crucial decision on performance of the world’s largest religious congregation for the Muslims.
Sources are optimistic about a positive development in the conference over performing hajj after a hiatus caused by the coronavirus situation. Bangladeshi aspirants may get green signal to perform Hajj.
Due to coronavirus pandemic, Saudi government did not allow foreign pilgrims to perform Hajj for around two years.
The Saudi government has invited Bangladesh to the upcoming conference.
Led by State Minister for Religious Affairs Faridul Haque Khan, Bangladesh delegation will leave country for Saudi Arabia on March 17 to attend the Hajj fair.
