Singer Rizia Parveen catches Covid-19 in USA

Noted singer Rizia Parveen, who lives in the United States, has been diagnosed with coronavirus .

New York expatriate writer Mili Sultana confirmed this information to media.

The singer is doing well and taking treatment from isolation at her residence in USA, she said.

Rizia Parveen specializes in play back singing and has done over 600 playback songs.Her popular playback songs include “Tumi Amar Chad Ami Chaderi Alo”, “Premer Naame Mitthey Bolona”, “Sotti Kotha Gopon Korona”, “Sobar Jibone Prem Ase, Tai Sobai Bhalobase” and “Oh Hero Oh Hero I Love You”.

Parveen has released 24 solo musical albums. Her first solo album named Prem was released in 1993. Parveen first gave her voice for play back song in Azharul Islam Khan’s movie Talak (film).

Earlier, popular singer Baby Naznin, who was admitted to a hospital in USA with kidney problem on Wednesday, has also been diagnosed with coronavirus.
