BTV arranges month-long programme

The first anniversary of the July uprising will be observed with various programmes across the country from 1 July to 5 August. Special programmes will also be featured on Bangladesh Television (BTV) during this time.

A notable highlight is the 36-episode daily documentary program titled “36 July”, which will begin airing today. This series focuses on the events that unfolded in the country from July to August 5, 2024.

The programme is produced by Khorshed Alam, Mostafizur Rahman, Moniruzzaman Khan, Yasir Arafat, and Iqbal Hossain. The documentary will be broadcast every night following the 8:00pm Bangla news.

Additionally, BTV has planned various other special programmes related to the July Uprising throughout July, including discussions, documentaries, solo music concerts, live music “Tarunyer Joygan,” and special theme songs, among others.
