Celebrities have banded together to raise awareness of noise pollution, said a press release.

Popular actors, including Mosharraf Karim, Arifin Shuvoo, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Bijori Barkatullah and others are working to raise awareness of noise pollution under a project launched by the government’s department of environment.

Everest winner Nishat Majumdar, cricketer Mehidy Hasan Miraz and national women’s football team player Sabina have also joined the cause.

They participated in TVCs made to make people aware of noise pollution, which will be aired on various TV channels soon.

Besides, a one-minute theme song on noise pollution, composed by Pritom Hasan and sung by Momtaz Begum, is being aired on different TV channels.
