A total of  791,002 people died from coronavirus worldwide in the  213 countries and territories since the virus emerged in Wuhan of China last December, according to latest data from worldometer.

So far, 22,580,254 coronavirus cases have been detected at 10:30 am till Thursday (GMT 04:30 am). Of them, 15,301,278 patients have been considered recovered, the source said.

Apart from this, the number of active cases are 6,487,974.

With the fresh tally around 24-hour, 6,649 patients died from coronavirus while 273,067 infections have been diagnosed, and 253,495 patients have made fully recovery.

Among the coronavirus affected countries, the US has gone up to 176,337 deaths, followed by Brazilwith 111,189, Mexico 58,481, India 53,994, Italy 35,412, France 30,468, Iran 20,125, Russia 15,989, Indonesia 6,346, Saudi Arabia 3,506, UAE 367 and Malaysia 125 respectively, worldometer reported.
