A total of 3,772 people have been infected with coronavirus in the country, including 390 new patients. Of the corona infected people, some 73 percent are from Dhaka division.

So far, people of 55 districts of the country have been infected with COVID-19. People of nine other districts are still out of coronavirus infection.

Prof Dr Nasima Sultana, additional director general of the Directorate General of Health Services, revealed this information in a health bulletin on coronaries situation at noon on Wednesday, according to media report.

She said, “Corona patients have been found in 55 districts out of 64 districts in the country. But most of the patients are from the capital and Dhaka division. Some 73 percent corona patients are from Dhaka division. Half of them are from Dhaka city while the rest are from other districts of this division.”

Nasima Sultana also said, “A total of 492 people have been infected with COVID-19 in Narayanganj. Of them, 364 are from Narayanganj City Corporation. Some 35 people died from coronavirus in Narayanganj so far. Some 16 people have recovered. A total of 681 people were sent in quarantine in the district. Of them, 598 people are now free from quarantine. Now Gazipur’s position is after Narayanganj. Then Kishoreganj and Narsingdi of the country.”
