Shawdesh DEsk: Twin brothers drowned in a pond at Kalkini upazila in Madaripur on Monday noon.

The deceased were identified as Armo Roy and Praggo Roy, both of them were two and a half years old, sons of Animesh, hailing from Nabagram area at Shashikar village of the upazila.

According to local sources, the boys slipped into the pond while they were playing besides their house.
After half an hour, their bodies were found floating on the water.

Later, locals took them to Kalkini Upazila Health Complex where duty doctor declared them dead.
